I hope all the bullies are gearing up for the Splash Party coming soon on Nov.8! Don't forget to RSVP and remember to bring your dog's proof of vaccinations. We don't want anyone to drive a distance and get turned away at the gate because you don't have that with you.

Other odds and ends:
1. The response to the survey about scheduling an obedience class with a trainer just for our bullies didn't result in enough interest to pursue it at this time. But if after the first of the year there is a group interested in pursuing it, I'd be glad to help you fascilitate it.
2. Many of you know that I volunteer with English bulldog rescue and have asked about ways to help.
........... Buddies Thru Bullies is selling bullie holiday cards with all proceeds going to the rescue dogs. The artwork for the cards was donated by a Tampa artist and they are super cute. The cost is $20 for a package of 15 cards plus shipping. If you'd like me to email a flier to you with pics of the cards and the greetings as well as ordering info, drop me an email. The cards will put a smile on your face and those who receive them.....and in the process help some needy bullies with vet expenses.
........... This one is a big help and doesn't cost a penny out of your pocket. The rescue participates in the Office Depot Rewards program. Every ink cartridge turned in for recycling (ink jet or laser) gives us reward dollars that can be used for future Office Depot purchases. You can also donate the rewards dollars from your purchases at Office Depot to the rescue account. When you drop off recycling or make a purchase, ask that the reward dollars go to #1121915886. The rewards rebates help the rescue with supplies and copying expenses for events and adoption outreach. It's an easy way to help the bullies. You can also bring your recycling cartridges to the MeetUps for collection; that works too.
