we had to have the surgery on rico. we checked at several vets and they wanted to charge anywhere between 500 and 900 per eye. we happened to meet some one that had they surgery done on there bulldog as well. they gave us the vet info and we had it done for 100 an eye. we didn't feed him the night before and called early in the morning and they were able to get him in that same morning and have him out that afternoon. everything has turned out great with it. we have had no problems and the vet says that he recovered well. we now use this vet for everything for rico. the vet info is

We have an excellent recommendation on a vet. His name is Dr Jim Young. He is on Marbach Rd @ Marbach Road Animal Hospital. He is very highly recommended, because he knows a lot about the breed. He has put out numerous publications on the bullies with AKC, and has even breed and raised bullies. If you "google" him, you can look up his bio, it speaks for itself. I do not know what they charge for Cheery eye surgery, but because he is such a great vet for the bullie breed, I would defiantly let him take care of it.
